We absolutely loved the Adelaide Zoo. It would be great for people of all ages to enjoy. The animal enclosures were well spaced out, maintained nicely, you could see the animals very clearly and get up close to some too. A surprising standout was actually the massive park that they have and great garden, grassed areas. The kids were having so much fun, and the adults were joining in or having a well deserved break. The food options were also good for this type of experience. Good variety and moderately priced. All up, we have a great day and would go back for sure in the future.
Great family day out- lovely grounds, great enclosures and the most incredible park for the kids to enjoy.

Amazing experience and my son enjoyed the day out

Amazing experience and my son enjoyed the day out. Loved the giraffes coming so close to the bus and out in the wild. The lions were great. Will surely revisit. Recommended for kids and adults as well. It's a family fun day out. Tour guides were also great.

Easy way to purchase!

Easy way to purchase!! The extra ticket we needed for the day as the rest had membership but buying through experience Oz I was able to use afterpay so I didn't have to actually spend any money for the day making it so made easier to take the kids out for a great day out

Loved the renovations from last time we were at the Adelaide Zoo

Loved the renovations from last time we were at the Adelaide Zoo, great variety of animals and shady places to sit with little ones. Children loved the play equipment and us adults loved the hot coffee. Parking is affordable and the zoo is easy to get there. Definitely will be back.

We actually have not been yet in Adelaide Zoo as it's on our to-do list during our summer holiday trip to Northern Territory and South Australia

We had a family day out

We had a family day out, as I brought my and partners ticket here using Afterpay and kids got to use their memberships again. A great day out but would like to see more experience added for Adelaide area so it makes it easier for families to have a day out.

I went to the zoo on my own as my partner had a meeting in the city

I went to the zoo on my own as my partner had a meeting in the city. I had such a great day seeing everything. Even got to see one of the pandas for the first time. Spent about 30 minutes watching the gibbons, they are playful creatures. Absolutely amazing day. Went on a Thursday afternoon and was not busy. Great experience on my own.

The zoo is always a fun experience because you have the freedom to walk around and take as long as you want

The zoo is always a fun experience because you have the freedom to walk around and take as long as you want , only downfall is trying to see the animals I went on a hot day so most were sleeping under trees and harder to see and lots of families are around

The zoo is quite small compared to the one we used to visit (Brisbane and Sydney for example)
Jeremy 3 years ago

The zoo is quite small compared to the one we used to visit (Brisbane and Sydney for example). There are nice animals like hippopotamus but we were quite frustrated seeing them turning around in very small enclosures. The pandas were hard to see as the zoo wanted to protect them, one of them was expecting. The kids really enjoyed the playground while we had lunch.
